World Translation Center, one of the world’s leading language translation companies, has announced the launch of a new website at www.worldtranslationcenter.com. The company, formerly known as World Voice Center, recently began operating under its new name.
Sabina Wrightsman, president of the Company, explained the name change:
Several months ago one of our long-standing corporate clients asked me if we provide translation services. We had completed several foreign language voice recording projects for this client, but the scripts came to us already translated. I was shocked by the question because, while we do provide extensive voice over recording services, we consider that part of a full-service translation services business. Most of our business is focused on providing basic translation services. Shortly after my discussion with this client, we acquired a directory listing with a major Internet search engine provider. They ignored our request to be listed under ‘translation services’ and classified us under ‘audio recordings’. We started to wonder if we should change our name; eventually, we decided to make the change. We also took the opportunity to create an entirely new website.
World Translation Center’s website provides extensive information on the Company’s translation services. The Company provides document translation services, including specialty areas such as marketing, legal, medical, technical and financial translation. In addition, foreign language desktop publishing, website translation and software localization services are available. Like its predecessor website, worldvoicecenter.com, the site contains the “Voice Center”, one of the largest databases of voiceover demos on the Internet.
